Job Title:
Senior / Experienced Project Manager – HT Cable Laying (UG & OH Works)

Surat / Bharuch, South Gujarat
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Project Manager to lead HT cable laying (Underground & Overhead) projects across South Gujarat. The candidate must have strong expertise in execution, team handling, and client coordination, with zero compromise on safety and quality standards, including effective management of HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end execution of HT cable projects (11kV / 22kV / 66kV).
Manage multiple project sites simultaneously with full accountability.
Oversee underground cable laying, jointing, termination, and testing.
Supervise overhead works including pole erection and conductor stringing.
Manage Own HDD Teams and Hired HDD Contractors for underground cable laying works.
Plan HDD routes, execution strategy, pit locations, and resource deployment.
Monitor HDD productivity, machine utilization, and daily progress.
Ensure proper coordination between HDD teams, survey teams, and site engineers.
Verify HDD work quality including alignment, depth, and duct installation.
Ensure strict safety compliance at all sites (PPE, shutdown permits, toolbox talks).
Maintain highest quality standards in execution as per drawings and specifications.
Conduct regular safety audits and quality inspections.
Coordinate with DISCOM authorities (DGVCL / GETCO) for approvals and shutdowns.
Drive project timelines, manpower planning, and resource utilization.
Monitor billing, BOQ tracking, and project costing.
Resolve critical site issues and ensure smooth project progress.
Submit DPR, MIS reports, and client updates regularly.
Safety & Quality Accountability (Critical Role):
Responsible for Zero Accident Execution across all sites.
Enforce mandatory PPE usage and safe work practices.
Ensure no work under unsafe or charged conditions without approval.
Ensure safe HDD operations, avoiding damage to underground utilities.
Maintain quality benchmarks for trenching, cable laying depth, HDD alignment, jointing, and testing.
Ensure all inspection, testing, and documentation is properly maintained.
Take immediate corrective action on any safety or quality deviation.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma / BE in Electrical Engineering
6–10 years of relevant experience in HT cable / electrical project execution
Proven track record of handling large-scale or multiple projects

Best in Industry (based on experience & performance)
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
