Full job description

Job Description:

We are hiring a Java Support Engineer to manage and support Java-based applications in a production environment. The role involves troubleshooting issues, ensuring system stability, and working closely with development teams for quick resolution.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide L2/L3 production support for Java applications
Monitor applications and resolve incidents within SLA
Troubleshoot issues related to APIs, databases, and servers
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement fixes
Work with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements
Support deployment and release activities
Analyze logs using tools like Splunk / ELK
Maintain proper documentation of issues and resolutions

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of Java and core concepts
Experience with Spring Boot framework
Good understanding of REST APIs & Microservices
Hands-on experience with SQL (MySQL/Oracle)
Basic Linux/Unix knowledge
Experience in debugging and log analysis
Familiarity with application servers (Tomcat, etc.)

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud platforms
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios/AppDynamics)
Basic scripting (Shell/Python)

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
