About This Opportunity
This is an unusual HR role — and if you find that exciting, you are the right kind of person we are looking for. You will be the HR backbone across multiple organizations under one management group, with the school being the primary focus. This means variety, exposure, and the opportunity to build HR systems from the ground up in a growing setup.
We need someone who is not waiting to be told what to do — someone who will walk in, assess the people landscape, and begin building structure, processes, and trust across teams. If you want a role where every day is different and your impact is visible, this is it.
"HR in a school is not just about hiring and payroll. It is about making sure every staff member feels seen, supported, and clear on their purpose — so they show up fully, every day."Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for teaching and non-teaching staff across organizations
- Design and maintain staff onboarding, induction, and documentation processes
- Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
- Build and implement staff performance review and appraisal systems
- Act as the first point of contact for staff grievances and HR-related concerns
- Maintain compliance with PF, ESI, and applicable labor law requirements
- Coordinate inter-organizational HR activities and staff allocation where needed
- Support management in workforce planning, retention strategies, and culture building
- Maintain organized HR records, employee files, and confidential documentation
Who We Are Looking For
- MBA in HR or equivalent degree; 3–6 years of HR generalist experience
- Prior experience in education sector, NGOs, or multi-branch setups is a strong advantage
- Hands-on knowledge of recruitment, payroll basics, and HR compliance
- Exceptionally organized with strong documentation and follow-through habits
- Mature, discreet, and trusted — you will handle sensitive staff information daily
- Bilingual in Hindi and English; strong written communication skills
- Comfortable being the only HR professional in the setup — a self-starter who builds rather than inherits
What We Offer
- Competitive salary with performance-based review after the first year
- Direct reporting to senior management — your inputs will shape real decisions
- The rare opportunity to build an HR function from scratch across a growing group
- Exposure to multiple sectors within one management umbrella — broad experience in a short time
- A stable, long-term role with clear accountability and genuine recognition
- Supportive leadership that understands the value of strong HR and will invest in yours
