A Pre-Primary Coordinator leads the early childhood section (Nursery-KG/Grade 2), overseeing curriculum implementation, teacher mentoring, and daily operations to ensure a nurturing, developmental learning environment. Key responsibilities include guiding pedagogical practices, monitoring student progress, organizing events, and maintaining parent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum & Pedagogical Leadership: Plan, update, and monitor the pre-primary curriculum, ensuring it aligns with school philosophy (e.g., NEP/CBSE) and is developmentally appropriate.
- Teacher Mentoring: Guide and support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to staff to ensure high-quality teaching.
- Student Development: Monitor student progress, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and engaging environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
- Parent & Community Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for parents regarding student progress and concerns, and manage orientation/events.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage timetables, resource allocation, and documentation for the section.
Typical Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.), Early Childhood Education (ECCE), or related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of pre-primary teaching experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹30,928.36 - ₹35,312.99 per month
