Full job description

Position: Assistant Manager – Quality (Assembly Line)
Industry: Air Conditioner (AC) Manufacturing
Location: Bhiwadi, Rajasthan
Experience: 8–15 Years
CTC: Up to ₹10 LPA

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality to lead quality assurance activities for the AC assembly line. The role involves ensuring product quality, minimizing defects, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with quality standards while coordinating with production and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage in-process, incoming, and final quality inspections for AC assembly lines.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, SOPs, and customer requirements.
Conduct root cause analysis using 7 QC Tools, 8D, CAPA, Fishbone, and Why-Why Analysis.
Monitor and improve quality KPIs such as FPY, PPM, rejection, and rework.
Handle customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct process, product, and layered process audits.
Ensure calibration and effective use of measuring instruments.
Lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
Coordinate with Production, R&D, Purchase, and Supplier Quality teams to improve product quality.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or a related engineering discipline.
8–15 years of experience in Quality within the AC, HVAC, Consumer Durables, or Electronics Manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of assembly line quality systems, ISO 9001, SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, and Control Plans.
Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
