Senior Accountant — Modem Ad Agency Private Limited

Position: Senior Accountant

Salary: ₹35,000 per month
Job Type: Full-time
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Experience Required: 10+ years
Location: PATNA

About the Role

Modem Ad Agency Private Limited is looking for an experienced and responsible Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to independently handle accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping operations.
Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
Prepare and file GST and TDS returns accurately and within deadlines.
Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and financial records.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors when required.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Handle vendor bills, invoices, payments, and expense records.
Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors, clients, and external consultants.
Assist management with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Ensure proper documentation and systematic maintenance of financial records.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial and company information.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and government regulations.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally Prime or other accounting/ERP software.
Strong command of MS Excel.
Experience in independently managing complete accounting operations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience working with a Private Limited Company or advertising/agency environment will be an advantage.
