Full job description

We are looking for a highly experienced and competent Accounts Manager / Administrator to independently manage and supervise the accounting and financial operations of our organization.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, and the complete process of finalization of financial statements and Balance Sheets. The candidate must have prior experience in independently handling the accounts of a well-established company and leading a team of accountants.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage the overall accounting and financial operations of the company.
Supervise and guide a team of Accountants and ensure accuracy and timely completion of all accounting work.
Finalize books of accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and other financial statements.
Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, bankers, and other statutory authorities.
Ensure proper maintenance and reconciliation of books of accounts, bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and other financial records.
Monitor and control day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other applicable statutory requirements.
Prepare and review MIS reports, financial statements, budgets, and other reports required by the management.
Monitor receivables, payables, cash flow, and working capital requirements.
Establish and maintain proper accounting systems, internal controls, and financial procedures.
Provide financial and administrative support to the management and assist in business decision-making.
Handle other accounting, financial, and administrative responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance.
Previous experience as an Accounts Manager, Finance Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
Strong and practical knowledge of finalization of accounts and preparation/finalization of Balance Sheets.
Experience in managing and supervising a team of Accountants.
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory compliances, and financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of Tally/Accounting Software and MS Excel.
Ability to independently handle the complete accounting function of a company.
Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualification

CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com or other relevant professional qualifications will be preferred.
Experience in a medium or large-sized company will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a mature and responsible accounting professional who can independently take ownership of the company's accounts and finance function, lead an accounting team, and ensure the timely and accurate finalization of financial statements.
