Full job description

Job Title: Game Designer
Location: Digha, Patna, Bihar (Onsite — no remote/hybrid)
Experience: [2– 5years]
Salary: [upto 30 k per month]
Joining: Immediate joiners preferred

About the Role We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Game Designer to join our team in Patna. You will own the design of gameplay systems, mechanics, levels, and player experience — from initial concept to final polish. If you live and breathe games and want to build them from the ground up, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Design core gameplay mechanics, systems, and player progression loops
Create and maintain Game Design Documents (GDDs) — clear, detailed, and actionable for developers and artists
Design levels, missions, puzzles, and difficulty curves; balance the in-game economy
Build paper prototypes and digital mockups to test ideas quickly
Collaborate closely with programmers, artists, and sound designers to bring designs to life
Run playtests, gather feedback, analyse player behaviour, and iterate
Define monetisation, retention, and engagement mechanics for live games
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor titles, and emerging genres

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Animation, Computer Science, or a related field (strong portfolio can replace formal qualification)
Proven experience designing games — published titles, game jam entries, or a strong personal portfolio
Working knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine
Comfort with design tools: Figma, Miro, Excel/Sheets for balancing
Strong understanding of game genres, mechanics, and what makes games fun
Ability to write clear design documentation
Good communication skills in English and Hindi

Preferred

Basic scripting knowledge (C#, Blueprint, or similar)
Experience designing mobile or casual games
Understanding of LiveOps, F2P monetisation, or player analytics
Familiarity with narrative design, UI/UX, or sound design principles
