Position 1: Desktop Support Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows desktops and laptops.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Install and configure operating systems, drivers, and business applications.
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to end users.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, and email clients.
- Perform user account management, password resets, and Active Directory support.
- Configure network connectivity including LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and shared resources.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
- Perform preventive maintenance and health checks.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when required.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of Desktop Support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with desktop hardware troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
- Excellent communication and customer support skills.
- Ability to travel to customer locations when required.
Position 2: Linux Engineer Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux).
- Monitor server performance, availability, and security.
- Perform server hardening, patch management, and system updates.
- Configure users, groups, permissions, and storage management.
- Troubleshoot Linux operating system and application issues.
- Manage Apache, Nginx, SSH, FTP, Samba, and other Linux services.
- Support virtualization environments such as VMware or Proxmox.
- Configure backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation.
- Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of Linux Administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, or Rocky Linux.
- Experience with Shell Scripting (Bash).
- Good understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and SSH.
- Experience with Apache/Nginx web servers.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware/KVM/Proxmox) is preferred.
- Familiarity with backup solutions and system monitoring tools.
- RHCSA/RHCE certification will be an added advantage.
