We are looking for an experienced Senior Tester to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of advanced software solutions in the geospatial domain. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in functional and non-functional testing, automation framework development, defect management, and testing applications involving SAR and Optical Image Analysis.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automation testing frameworks and scripts.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Validate applications related to Geospatial, SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar), and Optical Image Analysis.
- Review requirements and provide feedback to improve testability and product quality.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Generate test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness reports.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote QA best practices.
- 6–8 years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and Non-Functional Testing.
- Hands-on experience with Automation Testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Working knowledge of MATLAB.
- Experience with Test Automation Framework design and implementation.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, TestRail, ALM, etc.).
- Understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience in Geospatial/GIS applications.
- Knowledge of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) and Optical Image Analysis.
- Experience with image processing or remote sensing applications.
- Exposure to performance and API testing is an added advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
