Full job description

Graphic Designer – Brand & Visual Communication

Location: Calicut Office

Role Overview

BASE is looking for a brand-savvy Graphic Designer to join our creative team in Calicut. In this role, you will transform brand strategies into compelling visual identities, marketing assets, and digital experiences. Working closely with creative consultants, project controllers, and the marketing team, you will create designs that are not only visually impactful but also strategically aligned with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop complete brand identity systems, including logos, colour palettes, typography, visual language, and brand guidelines for clients across industries
Translate brand positioning and strategy into cohesive visual narratives across print and digital platforms
Create marketing and communication assets such as social media creatives, brochures, presentations, pitch decks, proposals, campaign visuals, and digital banners
Develop landing page visuals, UI assets, and design mockups aligned with established brand systems
Collaborate with creative consultants and project teams to understand client briefs, present concepts, and deliver high-quality design solutions across multiple projects
Design reports, case studies, thought leadership content, and publications while building templates and scalable design systems for consistent brand application
Ensure consistency, attention to detail, and high visual standards across all deliverables

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
1–5 years of professional design experience, preferably within a branding, agency, or consulting environment
Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in brand identity design, marketing collateral, and digital assets
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong understanding of typography, layout systems, colour theory, and visual hierarchy
Familiarity with presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Google Slides
Understanding of global design sensibilities and cross-cultural visual communication is an advantage
Basic motion graphics or video editing skills are a plus
