Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in developing and managing WordPress websites, customizing themes, integrating plugins/APIs, and ensuring websites are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain WordPress websites
- Customize WordPress themes, templates, and plugins
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, responsiveness, and overall performance
- Troubleshoot technical issues, bugs, and plugin/theme conflicts
- Ensure website security, backups, and best development practices
- Coordinate with designers, content, and marketing teams for smooth project execution
- Perform regular website updates, maintenance, and performance monitoring
- Improve website functionality and user experience through clean and efficient coding
- Handle multiple projects independently while meeting deadlines
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven experience in WordPress Development
- Strong portfolio showcasing live WordPress projects
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress architecture
- Strong understanding of custom theme and plugin development
- Experience with third-party integrations, APIs, and plugins
- Good understanding of SEO optimization and website performance practices
- Liquid programming/app integration experience is an added advantage
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Good communication skills with required English proficiency (written and verbal)
- Candidate must have their own laptop/device
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
