We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven General Manager – Sales (North India) to lead and scale our sales operations across the professional beauty and salon channel. The role will be responsible for driving regional revenue, expanding salon and distributor networks, and building a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive North India sales business for professional beauty products across salons, academies, and distributor networks.
- Develop and execute salon-driven sales strategies aligned with professional product positioning.
- Build and scale professional salon distribution, including premium salons, chains, academies, and stylists’ networks.
- Drive product sell-in, usage adoption, and repeat ordering through salon education, demos, and technical support.
- Lead new salon onboarding, conversion from competitive brands, and retention of high-value salon partners.
- Manage key salon chains, multi-outlet salons, and institutional academy accounts.
- Work closely with education & technical teams to ensure strong product knowledge, training programs, and stylist engagement.
- Plan and execute salon promotions, stylist programs, workshops, and product launches across the region.
- Build, lead, and mentor a professional beauty sales team (RSMs, ASMs, BDMs, Beauty Advisors).
- Set clear targets, productivity norms, incentive structures, and performance benchmarks for the sales team.
- Monitor secondary sales, salon consumption trends, and market feedback to drive business growth.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, schemes, and emerging salon trends.
- Ensure credit control, distributor health, collections, and stock management across the region.
- Represent the brand at beauty events, exhibitions, academy programs, and industry forums.
- Support business expansion into new product categories, salon formats, and emerging North markets.
- Extensive travel across North India for salon visits, distributor meetings, team coaching, trainings, and business development initiatives.
Required Qualification and skills
- 10+ years of experience in professional beauty / salon product sales
- Qualification -Graduation and above.
- Strong exposure to North India salon markets
- Proven experience in education-led selling and channel development
- Comfortable with frequent regional travel
- Strong leadership, relationship-building, and execution skills
