Ocean View Restaurant is expanding its kitchen team! We are looking for talented, passionate, and reliable Chefs to join us on a part-time basis, with additional opportunities to lead the kitchen during our high-profile Private Parties and Events.

Duties & Responsibilities: Loud & Clear
We are looking for professionals who can maintain the integrity of our menu while bringing "Event-Ready" energy to the kitchen.
1. Daily Production & Service
- Line Excellence: Execute menu items to exact specifications during high-volume lunch or dinner rushes.
- Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized station at all times (Mise-en-place is key).
- Quality Control: Ensure every dish meets Ocean View’s standards for taste, temperature, and presentation.
2. Party & Event Execution
- Buffet & Platter Management: Prepare and oversee large-scale food production for private parties and corporate events.
- Live Station Expertise: (If applicable) Manage live counters or carving stations with a professional and engaging presence for guests.
- Menu Scaling: Adapt recipes and production schedules to meet the guest count of specific events without compromising quality.
3. Leadership & Safety
- Kitchen Coordination: Work seamlessly with the Utility Workers and Helpers to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Hygienic Standards: Follow all food safety protocols (FIFO, temperature logs, and deep cleaning schedules) strictly.
Key Requirements (Before You Apply):
- Proven Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a professional kitchen or catering environment.
- Technical Skill: Strong knife skills and a deep understanding of various cooking methods (Grilling, Sautéing, Frying).
- Reliability: You must be punctual and capable of handling the physical demands of a busy kitchen.
- Event Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for scheduled parties is a major plus.
