## Job Overview
We are looking for a highly disciplined, alert, and numbers-driven Equity Dealer to join our trading desk in Mohali. In this role, you will be directly responsible for executing high-volume client orders flawlessly across the Indian Equity and Derivatives markets. You will act as the vital bridge between our wealth advisory team and the market terminal.

## Key Responsibilities
- Order Execution: Seamlessly execute trade orders (Buy/Sell) on behalf of retail and high-net-worth clients across Equity Cash, Derivatives (F&O), Currency, and Commodity segments.
- Terminal Operations: Handle and monitor trading terminals (e.g., NEST, ODIN, Motilal Oswal, or other institutional broker setups) efficiently during active market hours.
- Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all trades are executed within predefined client margin limits and risk parameters. Monitor ledger funding and ensure no unauthorized trading exposure is triggered.
- RM & Client Coordination: Confirm trade executions instantly with Relationship Managers and clients. Work closely with the backend team to handle post-trade discrepancies, order modifications, or margin shortfalls.
- Daily Trade Reconciliation: Reconcile trade logs at the end of every market session. Assist in checking daily Contract Notes, tracking margin pools, and ensuring overall back-office synchronization.
## Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience working as a Terminal Dealer, Equity Dealer, or Execution Operator with a reputed stockbroking firm or wealth advisory house.
- Mandatory Certification: NISM Series VIII: Equity Derivatives Certification must be valid and active. (NISM Series VII: Securities Operations and Risk Management is a major plus).
- Technical Mastery: Flawless speed and accuracy in terminal keyboard shortcuts. High familiarity with handling dealer client hierarchies, ledger balances, and margin pools.
- Under Pressure Focus: Exceptional mental alertness, emotional stability, and processing speed during high-volatility market movements.
- Communication Skills: Clear, crisp, and direct communication in English, Hindi, or Punjabi to execute verbal orders without any ambiguity.
- Education: Graduate degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Economics, or a closely related analytical field.
