Job Description – Architectural Draftsman

Position: Architectural Draftsman
Experience: Minimum 3 Years
Location: Chennai

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and working drawings using AutoCAD.
Develop shop drawings and construction drawings as per project requirements.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and project teams.
Revise drawings based on design changes and site requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and applicable standards.
Support project execution with accurate and timely documentation.

Requirements:

Diploma/ITI in Draftsmanship or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and SketchUp is an added advantage.
Good understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building standards.
Experience in industrial, commercial, or PEB projects is preferred.
