Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Technologist to develop, improve, and maintain food products while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of food science, product formulation, food processing technologies, and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Develop new food products and improve existing formulations.
Conduct product trials, sensory evaluations, and shelf-life studies.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
Analyze raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
Collaborate with production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and product reports.
Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies.
Support regulatory approvals, labeling requirements, and product claims.
Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with suppliers for ingredient selection and quality assurance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in food manufacturing, R&D, or quality assurance.
Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSSAI regulations, ISO 22000, and food safety systems.
Experience in product development and food processing techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food formulation software (preferred).

Sensory evaluation techniques.
Regulatory compliance and food labeling.
Statistical analysis and data interpretation.
Project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
