Full job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented fresh graduates to join our Underwriting team. As an Underwriting Trainee, you will support the risk assessment and decision-making processes for insurance products. This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in the BPO sector, with on-the-job training and exposure to industry-standard practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior underwriters in reviewing and analyzing applications for insurance or loan products.
Evaluate risk based on client data, documents, and internal guidelines.
Input and maintain accurate data in underwriting systems.
Coordinate with sales, operations, and compliance teams for additional information or clarification.
Help ensure timely processing of applications within SLA timelines.
Learn and apply underwriting policies, procedures, and tools.
Prepare basic reports or summaries for underwriter review.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
Freshers or candidates with relevant internship are welcome.
Good typing skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and organized with a willingness to learn.

Location: Chennai.

Willingness to work in shifts (including night shifts)

Note: This is a Contract Hiring for (0.6- 1 year), based on the performance you will be absorbed on the roles of the Company
