The Senior Video Editor will lead the creation, editing, and production of high-quality video content to support organizational goals, enhance brand storytelling, and engage target audiences. This role requires 3-5 years of professional video editing experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in narrative development, technical proficiency, and creative vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Editing & Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished videos, including promotional content, corporate videos, social media clips, and long-form narratives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
- Creative Storytelling: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling visual stories, incorporating scripting, storyboarding, and pacing to engage audiences.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) to edit videos, apply color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
- Project Management: Oversee video projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Content Optimization: Tailor video content for various platforms (e.g., X, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn), ensuring optimal formatting, aspect ratios, and audience engagement.
- Team Collaboration: Work with videographers, graphic designers, and marketing teams to align video content with broader campaign strategies.
- Quality Control: Review and refine video content to ensure technical accuracy, visual consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
- Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on video editing trends, tools, and technologies, integrating innovative techniques to enhance production quality.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior editors, providing feedback and fostering skill development within the team.
