Job Summary:
Alok Buildtech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway / Structure Engineer for ongoing OPRMC (Operate, Maintain & Road Management Contract) projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising highway maintenance, rehabilitation, structural repair, and routine maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient road operations as per project standards and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor routine and periodic maintenance works of highways under OPRMC projects.
- Oversee structural maintenance activities including bridges, culverts, drains, retaining walls, and other road structures.
- Ensure all maintenance and rehabilitation works are executed as per IRC/MORTH specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of carriageway, structures, shoulders, signage, road markings, and safety furniture.
- Monitor road condition, identify defects, and recommend corrective measures for timely rectification.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Client representatives, Consultants, and Contractors for smooth execution of maintenance activities.
- Ensure proper traffic management and safety measures during maintenance operations.
- Maintain records of site inspections, maintenance activities, measurements, and quality checks.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress and maintenance reports.
- Monitor project timelines, manpower deployment, machinery utilization, and material consumption.
- Resolve technical and on-site issues promptly to avoid disruption of traffic and project delays.
- Ensure emergency response activities are carried out effectively during accidents, road blockages, or natural calamities.
- Supervise subcontractors and site teams to maintain quality and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and contractual obligations under the OPRMC agreement.
- Train and guide junior engineers and maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Proven experience in Highway Maintenance, OPRMC, EPC, HAM, or road infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of highway maintenance practices, pavement rehabilitation, bridge/structure maintenance, IRC & MORTH specifications.
- Good understanding of traffic safety management and road asset maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving and site management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting tools.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in field/site conditions and under strict timelines.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
