Job Description – Legal Associate (Full-Time)

Position Title: Legal Associate ( Manager )
Location: Race Course, Avinashi Road, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu – 641018
Industry: Real Estate & Solar Energy
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 2–5 Years (Preferred)
Qualification: LL.B. / B.L. Degree from a recognized university; enrollment with the Bar Council preferred.

About the Company

We are a growing organization engaged in Real Estate Development and Solar Energy Projects across Tamil Nadu. We seek a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Associate to manage legal, regulatory, contractual, and compliance matters related to land acquisition, property transactions, solar project development, and corporate operations.

Key Responsibilities - Real Estate Legal Matters

Conduct title verification, due diligence, and legal scrutiny of land and property documents.
Review and draft Sale Deeds, Gift Deeds, Lease Agreements, Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Power of Attorney documents, and related property documents.
Coordinate with Sub-Registrar Offices, Revenue Departments, Local Authorities, and Government Agencies.
Handle land acquisition documentation, encumbrance verification, and legal compliance requirements.
Support registration, mutation, patta transfer, and approval processes.

Solar Project Legal Matters

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to solar EPC projects, land leases, power purchase agreements, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
Ensure compliance with applicable renewable energy regulations, electricity laws, and government policies.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, DISCOMs, and government departments regarding project approvals and permits.
Identify legal risks associated with solar project development and recommend mitigation measures.

Corporate & Compliance Functions

Draft and vet commercial agreements, MoUs, NDAs, employment contracts, and vendor agreements.
Monitor legal compliance requirements and maintain statutory records.
Coordinate with external advocates, consultants, and legal advisors.
Assist management in dispute resolution, arbitration matters, and litigation management.
Prepare legal notices, replies, petitions, and other legal correspondence.
Keep management updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Property Law, Contract Law, Land Laws, and Corporate Compliance.
Understanding of legal aspects of renewable energy and infrastructure projects is an advantage.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and documentation skills.
Ability to conduct legal research and due diligence independently.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation systems.
Fluency in English and Tamil (written and spoken).

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience in real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, or corporate legal practice.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Willingness to travel within Tamil Nadu for legal and project-related activities when required.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
