Full job description

Position: Invoicing Clerk
Industry: FMCG
Location: Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Invoicing & Documentation

Accurately input customer information, sales orders, and transaction details into the ERP system.
Coordinate with the sales team for any order clarifications, pricing confirmations, or discrepancies.
Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure the correct stock is dispatched as per the order, matching the exact quantity and expiry date recorded in the system and reflected on the invoice.
Prepare and generate GST-compliant invoices and send them to customers in a timely manner.
Generate E-Way Bills for goods movement as per GST requirements.
Coordinate with customers and transporters for E-Way Bill details and dispatch schedules.
Verify billing details, pricing, tax rates, and customer information before invoicing and shipment.
Review invoices for accuracy, ensuring all billing details are complete and correct.
Maintain organized records of all transactions, invoices, E-Way Bills, receipts, and supporting documents.
Support general administrative tasks as required.

Reception & Administrative Support

Manage the front desk: greet visitors, handle incoming calls, and direct queries appropriately.
Maintain a neat and professional reception area.
Schedule appointments and assist with basic admin tasks like filing and data entry.
Handle courier dispatches and mail distribution.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with customers for invoice-related queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Provide support to other departments as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
Strong typing skills with speed and accuracy for preparing documents and invoices.
Familiarity with invoicing software and ERP systems.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: ₹8,649.72 - ₹33,905.20 per month
