The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for procurement and production planning. The is a key leader responsible
for ensuring execution of production and distribution of products across the supply chain, from manufacturing facilities
to hub warehouses and ultimately to customers. The Supply Chain Manager role requires leadership and influence skills
with stakeholders in Production, Sales Strategy, and Finance functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Warehouse / Logistics / Fulfillment
* Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and transportation
* Overseeing the management of all warehouse operations
* Supervising the quality, quantity efficiency of storage and movement of goods
* Prioritize shipments and work tasks for warehouse staff
* Manage logistics network and work with 3rd party providers to ensure on time delivery (inbound & outbound)
* Maintain ongoing cross-border trade compliance with USA by working with internal/external stakeholders (vendors,
customs brokers, carriers, and Customer Service teams)
* Analyze logistical challenges, developing and new solutions to efficiently meet business growth efficiently
* Maintain good relationships with carriers while holding them accountable
* Negotiating rates with carriers to maximize profitability
* Carrier management, evaluation, development, and market knowledge as it relates to performance, safety, rate
negotiations
* Initiate freight claims and determine root cause when necessary
* Ensure accurate inventory levels
* Identifying Logistics optimization opportunities
* Analyze freight movements to realize efficiencies and add value to the company
* Assisting in the implementation of inventory systems
* Responsible for delivering key supply chain metrics including % out of stock, late shipments, short shipments
Planning / Forecasting
* Implements and monitors all NHGF Supply Planning Processes, Tools and Reports
* Provides clear leadership and direction to the warehouse and production teams on matters affecting product supply
* Works in collaboration with Operations Manager to establish inventory levels to meet customer demands
* Monitors finished goods inventory daily and keeps sales departments informed of changes
* Generates daily production quantity in production control
* Communicate with Operations Manager for special production requests
* Set up lead time for special order production
* Improve existing production control system
* Create standard production planning process
* Chair all standard daily/weekly supply planning meetings with stakeholders
Procurement
* Manage ordering of consumables and inventory management
* Implementing and managing centralized procurement and purchasing processes and procedures
* Planning and forecasting purchase requirements of core products
* Generating purchase orders, receipt of goods, and invoice matching
* Onboarding and management of Co-Packers
* Liaise and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors (internal and external), finding ways to reduce costs
and improve performance
* Drive strategic sourcing of ingredients and alternate supplier identification
* Develop hedging strategy on key commodities
* Manage, coach, and develop the supply chain team to set and execute company objectives
* Support implementation and proper utilization of ERP system (SAP)
* Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or the Company
Qualifications
* 5+ years operations experience
* Proficient in MS Office (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
* Exceptional knowledge of import/export regulations internationally and strong regulatory acumen; understanding of
international shipping/receiving, and in-depth knowledge of foreign customs, tariffs, and optimal shipping methods
* Exceptional customer service abilities, attention to detail, and highly organized
* Strong working knowledge of storage, packing and shipping techniques
* Results orientation with a disposition towards continuous improvement

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience in existing demand forecasting of supply planning
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

asset (SAP specifically)
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
