At Key Campus, an Admission Counsellor plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between prospective students and their academic goals. This role is a blend of sales, relationship management, and educational guidance, focused on maintaining a high enrollment rate while ensuring a positive experience for students and parents.

Below is a detailed breakdown of the responsibilities and requirements typically associated with this role:

## Core Responsibilities

Lead Management & Conversion: Actively follow up on leads generated through digital marketing, website inquiries, and walk-ins. You are responsible for converting inquiries into confirmed admissions through persistent and empathetic communication.
Educational Counseling: Conduct one-on-one sessions to understand a student’s career aspirations and academic background. Provide detailed information regarding course curriculum, fee structures, scholarship options, and career outcomes.
Application Facilitation: Guide students through the entire documentation and registration process. This includes verifying academic transcripts, helping with entrance exam forms, and ensuring all compliance standards are met.
Outreach & Events: Represent Key Campus at educational fairs, school/college seminars, and webinars. You may also be tasked with organizing "Open Days" or campus tours for prospective families.
Data Management: Maintain an updated CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database. You must track every stage of the student journey—from first contact to final enrollment—to provide accurate reports to management.

## Required Skills & Qualifications

Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written skills in English and often a local regional language. You must be able to explain complex admission policies in a simple, persuasive manner.
Target-Oriented Mindset: Since this role often carries enrollment targets, a background in sales or "soft-sales" is highly valued.
Interpersonal Intelligence: The ability to handle stressed parents or confused students with patience and professionalism.
Technical Proficiency: Comfort using CRM tools (like LeadSquared or Zoho), Microsoft Excel, and virtual meeting platforms (Zoom/Google Meet).
Education: Typically a Bachelor’s degree in any field. Prior experience in the EdTech or Higher Education sector is usually a strong preference.
