Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Senior Retail Merchandiser to manage inventory planning, sales analysis, and store coordination across channels. Retail Operations experience will be a plus. This role plays a key part in ensuring the right product is available at the right place and time, while maintaining strong alignment between production, stores, and operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Planning & Allocation
- Plan category-wise and store-wise stock allocation based on sales trends, demand, and store capacity
- Ensure optimal stock levels across all stores to maximize sell-through
Replenishment & Production Planning
- Monitor stock levels and identify replenishment needs
- Coordinate with the production team on required quantities for bestsellers and new collections
- Minimize stock-outs and overstock situations
Sales Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly sales reports
- Track category performance and provide actionable insights
- Ensure stores are aligned with their sales and inventory performance
Vendor & Shipment Coordination
- Manage vendor and international shipment documentation
- Coordinate inward shipments to ensure timely and smooth deliveries
Quality Control
- Review QA reports and highlight issues to relevant teams
- Ensure timely resolution of product quality concerns
Product Data Management
- Maintain and update the product master sheet including pricing, categories, and product lifecycle (continuation/discontinuation)
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product data across systems
Website & Catalog Coordination
- Prepare product upload sheets for new collections and vendor products
- Ensure accurate and timely product listings on the website
Accounts & Billing Coordination
- Work closely with the accounts team to process vendor bills
- Ensure timely closures and documentation
Store Coordination
- Address store requirements related to stock and product availability
- Monitor store displays to ensure the latest collections and bestsellers are well represented
- Manage all store related and queries and help resolve issues for the store teams.
Warehouse & Logistics Coordination
- Align dispatches with warehouse and logistics teams
- Ensure timely replenishment of stock across all stores
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 6-7 years of experience required at a reputed home decor/ furnishing/ fashion/retail brand
- Good understanding of retail operations and inventory management
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workflows
- Strong coordination and communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
