Job Description

Cyber Defentech is looking for motivated Cybersecurity Freshers who are eager to build their career in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, Linux administration, and basic programming concepts. Candidates should be willing to learn, work in a team, and develop hands-on skills in real-world cybersecurity environments.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in setting up and managing network devices like routers and switches.
Support network setups help fix problems, and connectivity issues.
Setting up and keeping track on VLANs for short.
Monitor and maintain network performance and security.
Perform tasks related to Linux system administration, such as managing users and groups.
Manage file systems, file permission in Linux.
Monitor system processes and perform basic maintenance tasks.
Assist in putting cybersecurity practices and security measures.
Support senior team members in security monitoring, log analysis, and incidents investigations.
Maintain track of documents and configuration records.
Continuously learn about cybersecurity tools and technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Technical Skills

Candidates should have knowledge of the following:

Networking

Networking Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH)
Router Configuration
Switch Configuration
VLAN Configuration
Inter-VLAN Routing (preferred)
Port Security
Basic Network Troubleshooting

Linux

Linux Fundamentals
User and Group Management
File and Directory Management
File and Directory Permissions
Process Management
Basic Shell Commands
Package Management

Programming

Basic Python Programming
Understanding of scripting concepts and automation fundamentals

We’re looking for someone who

Have Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts
Understanding of operating systems (Windows and Linux)
Basic understanding of firewalls and network security
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Qualifications

Graduation - BCA, MCA, B.tech, M.tech
0-6 months experience required.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of networking concepts is important.
Good knowledge of Linux operating systems.
Basic Python programming and scripting skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and cybersecurity concepts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Professional attitude with strong attention to detail and a willingness to take initiative.
