Location: New Delhi
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Education: Graduate in Law from a well ranked Law School

What we are looking for:
Our firm is looking for an experienced lawyer for our Litigation & Corporate Divisions who can help our clients achieve favorable outcomes with legal matters. You would be accountable for managing a complex mixed caseload of client matters and provide clients with high quality legal advice whilst proactively managing client relationships. Following are some of the major responsibilities:

Litigation:
Representing clients before the district courts, High Court, tribunals, commissions, and other authorities.
Drafting and vetting of various petitions, pleadings, writs, affidavits, counter affidavits, appeals, miscellaneous applications, affidavits, civil or criminal complaints and notices.
Liaise with statutory, regulatory and/or quasi-judicial authorities as and when required.
Conducting research on legal issues associated with cases and drafting legal briefs & motions to be submitted
Communicating with clients throughout the litigation process to keep them informed about the status of their cases and any new developments
Should have hands on experience in filing procedures, attending enquires and execution proceedings.

Corporate & Commercial Law:
Drafting and negotiation of complex transaction agreements/ documents, which inter alia include, term sheet, share purchase agreements, shareholders agreements, business transfer agreements, asset purchase agreements, joint venture agreement and others.
To advise clients in different non-Tax laws including contract law, Companies law, FEMA and also to ensure that contracts and other arrangements proposed by ILO are compliant with the applicable laws.
M&A and Transaction Advisory - Merger, Demergers, Slump sales, Business Succession and Transaction Advisory.
Should have sound legal knowledge on various corporate & other regulatory compliance applicable to Indian entities
Liaise with Government departments and ensuring compliances in cases
Any other related project assigned from time-to-time.

Qualification & Experience:
Should be a graduate/ post-graduate in Law from a premier institution like National Law University (NLU), Symbiosis Law School, Jindal Global Law School, GLC (Mumbai), Campus Law Centre (Delhi).
Must possess post qualification experience as a practicing advocate for minimum 5 years.
Must have excellent communication and analytical skills
Must possess a high standard of written and spoken English.
