Job Summary
The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the packing operations of automotive parts to ensure products are packed safely, accurately, and according to company and customer standards. The role involves supervising packing staff, maintaining quality standards, managing packing materials, and ensuring timely dispatch of finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
1. Packing Operations Management
Supervise daily packing activities of auto parts.
Ensure products are packed according to customer specifications and company standards.
Monitor packing line efficiency and productivity.
2. Team Supervision
Lead and manage packing staff and helpers.
Assign tasks and monitor employee performance.
Provide training on packing procedures and safety.
3. Quality Control
Ensure correct labeling, tagging, and packaging of auto parts.
Inspect packed goods for damage or incorrect packaging.
Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team to maintain product quality.
4. Inventory & Materials Management
Monitor availability of packing materials (boxes, pallets, straps, labels, etc.).
Maintain records of packing material usage.
Coordinate with the store/warehouse department for replenishment.
5. Documentation
Maintain packing reports and dispatch records.
Ensure accurate documentation for shipments.
Update packing production data
6 Coordination
Coordinate with production, quality, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow.
Ensure packed goods are ready for dispatch on time
