About the Role
WebSpero is launching a new service line: Product & Brand Strategy — helping clients go from “we want to build something” to a fully defined product with a clear market position, user experience, and product strategy before a single wireframe or line of code gets built.
We're looking for a senior hybrid strategist to own this offering end-to-end. You'll run discovery with client founders and stakeholders, define product scope and user flows with the help of technical teams, craft the product and brand narrative, and present recommendations back to clients in a way that builds confidence and drives decision-making. The ideal candidate should have experience defining and managing digital products as well as AI-powered products, with the ability to identify where AI capabilities can create meaningful user and business value.
This is a client-facing, high-visibility role. You won't just be doing strategic thinking — you'll be the person in the room defending product decisions, aligning stakeholders, and helping clients move from ideas to successful products.
What You'll Do
- Lead discovery engagements with new and prospective clients alongside technical teams, including stakeholder interviews, market and competitor research, defining target users, identifying customer problems, and evaluating opportunities for AI-enabled solutions where relevant.
- Turn ambiguous briefs (“we want an app,” “we want a platform,” or “we want to add AI”) into defined product strategies: use cases, feature priorities, user flows, information architecture, MVP scope, and product roadmaps.
- Define product direction for digital products, SaaS platforms, and AI-powered solutions by balancing customer needs, business goals, technical feasibility, and market opportunity.
- Own the product narrative and positioning for new products — defining why the product matters, who it serves, its differentiation, and how it creates value.
- Work with UX and technical teams to produce wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and structured product briefs that design and development teams can build from directly.
- Evaluate AI opportunities within products, including identifying relevant use cases for automation, Generative AI, intelligent workflows, or AI-driven experiences while ensuring practical business value.
- Run strategy workshops with clients, present findings and recommendations, and defend scope decisions in front of founders and senior stakeholders.
- Partner with sales teams to help scope and define product strategy engagements as a paid offering.
- Act as the bridge between a client's vision, customer needs, technology possibilities, and what actually gets designed and built.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of combined experience across product strategy, product management, UX, and/or brand/creative strategy. We don't expect equal depth in all areas, but you should be credible across the full range.
- Proven experience managing or defining digital products from ideation through launch, including product discovery, roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
- Experience working with AI-based products, AI-powered SaaS platforms, automation solutions, or data-driven products, with an understanding of how AI can be applied to solve real customer and business problems.
- A portfolio or track record that shows how you think — case studies where you defined product direction from a vague starting point, not just executed someone else's requirements.
- Real experience presenting to and influencing client executives, founders, or senior stakeholders. You're comfortable holding a room and defending strategic decisions.
- Confidence running workshops — discovery sessions, stakeholder alignment, prioritization exercises, and product strategy discussions, both in-person and remotely.
- Strong product thinking with the ability to define user journeys, feature priorities, MVP scope, and business outcomes.
- Wireframing and prototyping fluency (Figma or equivalent) — you think and communicate in structure, not just visuals.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and understand AI/product trade-offs, feasibility considerations, and implementation constraints.
- Bonus: agency-side experience, SaaS/product company experience, and exposure to e-commerce/D2C brands.

Within your first few engagements, clients trust you with the ambiguous, undefined front end of their product ideas and rely on your strategic guidance to make confident product decisions.
Success in this role means helping clients define products that have clear customer value, strong market positioning, and measurable business potential — including identifying opportunities where AI can enhance the product experience or create competitive advantage.
You will help create cleaner, better-scoped briefs for design and development teams, reduce product uncertainty, accelerate execution, and contribute to successful product outcomes through improved adoption, customer satisfaction, and revenue opportunities.
Pay: From ₹60,000.00 per month
