Key Responsibilities

POS Operations: Accurately scan barcodes, enter weights/quantities, and generate itemized bills or tax invoices for customers.
Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and UPI transactions seamlessly, ensuring the cash register balances at the end of every shift.
Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with queries, explain ongoing store discounts, and ensure a polite checkout experience.
Inventory & Stock Monitoring: Alert store managers to low-stock items, handle returns and exchanges, and occasionally verify product expiry dates on shelves.
Day-End Reconciliation: Count daily collections, match receipts with the system-generated sales report, and securely hand over the cash to the store supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Minimum of a 12th Pass or an SSLC certificate; degrees in commerce or business are an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with retail billing software (e.g., Tally Prime, custom POS systems) and basic data entry.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and the ability to remain calm and accurate during busy hours.
Physical & Work Requirements: Ability to stand for long shifts and willingness to work rotational shifts or weekends based on supermarket timings.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
