Job Role

LITIGATION & ADVISORY

Educational Qualification:
Graduation (With Specialization)- LLB

Post Graduation: (With Specialization): A master's degree in law will be an added advantage.

Any Other (Certification / Diploma etc.)

Work Experience (Years) in treasury activities.

5 -7 (Minimum) (Maximum)

Job Responsibilities

To prepare draft replies, applications, evidence, affidavits, writ petitions related to consumer, civil, commercial, arbitration, criminal, industrial disputes/ labour matters and other specialized litigations/ matters.
To efficiently handle and regularly update the management on the status of various litigations pending at various fora/courts/tribunals.
To advise, appear and represent the Company in various proceedings before courts /Tribunal /Commissions and other Govt. Authorities
Coordinate with lawyers and internal stakeholders/ functions for preparing replies/submissions and follow up with lawyers/consultants for managing end to end litigations filed for and against the Company
Advise busine team on the day-to-day queries related to legal issues /litigations
To conduct or coordinate research on legal issues & update stakeholders on the new judgements/ laws.

Competencies / Skills

Professional ability to interpret laws and find solutions to complex legal issues and handle litigations
Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and within tight timelines
Must be a highly motivated self-starter and able to function independently in a “hands-on” environment. and he should be familiar with court process and handling litigation in corporate houses.
Should have excellent analytical, execution skills and practical experience of handling litigation before various forum.
Must be familiar with roles & responsibility of an in-house counsel and able to work in close knitted team.

Behavioral: Excellent interpersonal skills, Excellent written and oral communication, Team player.
