About the Role
As a Field Loan Officer at MaksPay, you will be the face of our lending business on the ground. You will visit shops, markets, and commercial establishments to generate business loan applications, working closely with our telecalling team who will provide warm leads. You will guide business owners through the loan process across our lender network — Muthoot Finance, Hero Fincorp, and SIDBI.
Key Responsibilities
Visit shops, commercial establishments, and SME clusters daily to source and convert business loan leads provided by the telecalling team.
Conduct door-to-door visits in assigned territories to identify prospective borrowers and pitch tailored loan products.
Educate customers about business loan offerings, eligibility criteria, interest rates, and repayment terms across our lender partners.
Collect and verify KYC documents, business proof, bank statements, and other required paperwork for loan processing.
Coordinate with the credit and operations team to ensure smooth onboarding and timely disbursals.
Maintain daily activity reports (DAR), call records, and lead status updates in the CRM system.
Meet monthly and quarterly disbursement targets as defined by the sales manager.
Build long-term relationships with customers to generate referrals and repeat business.
Requirements
0–4 years of experience in field sales, DSA, or loan sourcing (fintech/NBFC/banking preferred)
Strong communication skills in local language and Hindi/English
Comfortable with extensive field travel and daily market visits
Basic smartphone proficiency for CRM, WhatsApp coordination, and document uploads
Own two-wheeler with valid driving licence (preferred)
Good to Have
Prior experience working with DSAs or direct lender channels
Understanding of business loan products, LAP, or MSME credit
Existing network among local merchants, traders, or shopkeepers
Familiarity with KYC documentation and basic credit parameters
