Full job description

Junior Java Developer

Location: New Delhi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3+ years only
CTC: Up to ₹4 LPA
Joining: Immediate / Within 15 Days

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer / Java Developer with experience in web application development, client coordination, and application support. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java technologies. The candidate will work under a government department on gov projects' customisation, development, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise-level applications at client locations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customise, maintain, and support web-based applications using Java technologies.
Design and develop scalable, reusable, and high-performance APIs.
Provide application support and issue resolution at client locations.
Coordinate with clients for requirement gathering, issue tracking, and deployment activities.
Troubleshoot software, integration, and deployment-related issues.
Participate in application enhancement, testing, and production support activities.
Work closely with development and project teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions.

Required Technical Skills

Strong understanding of Object-Orientated Programming (OOP) concepts.
Hands-on experience with Java, JSP, Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
Good knowledge of XML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, and JSON.
Experience with MVC architecture and web application development.
Database experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of application servers such as JBoss and Apache Tomcat.
Experience in API development and integration.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Angular.
Experience in government / e-governance projects.
Experience in customisation development using Java.
Exposure to software deployment and production support environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Must have experience in client coordination and application support.
Experience in website, portal, or web application development is mandatory.
Candidate should be available to join within 15 days.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
