Job Opening: Inbound Travel Planner & Tour Sales Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and sales-oriented Inbound Travel Planner & Tour Sales Executive to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling international travel inquiries, understanding clients' travel requirements, designing customized tour packages, and converting inquiries into confirmed bookings.

This role is ideal for someone who has excellent communication skills, strong knowledge of Indian destinations, and the ability to create memorable travel experiences for international guests.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound travel inquiries received through the website, email, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
Communicate professionally with international clients and understand their travel requirements.
Design customized tour itineraries across India and other destinations.
Prepare attractive and detailed tour proposals and quotations.
Recommend suitable destinations, hotels, transportation, sightseeing, and experiences based on clients' interests and budgets.
Follow up with prospective clients and convert travel inquiries into confirmed bookings.
Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, guides, and other travel partners.
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and confirmed bookings.
Provide excellent customer service before and during the booking process.
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
Stay updated with destinations, hotels, tourism trends, and travel requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in Inbound Tourism, Travel Planning, Tour Operations, or Travel Sales is preferred.
Good knowledge of major tourist destinations in India, including Rajasthan, Kerala, Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, and wildlife destinations.
Experience in preparing customized tour itineraries and quotations.
Strong sales and follow-up skills with the ability to convert inquiries into bookings.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Ability to communicate confidently with international clients.
Good knowledge of hotels, transportation, sightseeing, and travel logistics.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
Basic knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, email, and CRM systems.

Preferred Skills

Experience in handling clients from the UK, USA, Europe, Australia, or other international markets.
Knowledge of luxury travel and customized private tours.
Experience selling India tour packages, wildlife tours, cultural tours, Kerala tours, Rajasthan tours, and Golden Triangle tours.
Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills.
Ability to work under sales targets and deadlines.
