Full job description

We are looking for a Operation Manager who is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel/resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, efficient departmental coordination, and achievement of operational and financial goals. The role involves managing front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance, security, and guest services while maintaining company standards and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and promptly resolving guest concerns.
Monitor occupancy, revenue, departmental performance, and operational costs.
Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Sales, and Reservations teams.
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate staff to improve productivity and service quality.
Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower across departments.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, banquet facilities, and hotel premises.
Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for operational requirements.
Analyze operational reports and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and operational support.
Ensure smooth execution of conferences, banquets, weddings, and special events.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for senior management.
Support business development initiatives to improve occupancy, revenue, and guest retention.

Reporting To

General Manager / Managing Director

Working Conditions

Flexible working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
Willingness to travel between hotel properties when required.
