We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our boarding school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, sportsmanship, and overall well-being among students. This is a residential position, and the selected candidate is required to stay on campus. Accommodation, meals, and other boarding facilities will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct daily physical education classes for students of various age groups
- Organize and supervise sports activities, games, and fitness programs
- Train students in specific sports and prepare them for inter-school competitions
- Maintain discipline, safety, and engagement during all physical activities
- Monitor students' physical development and provide feedback
- Assist in organizing school sports events, tournaments, and annual sports day
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities
- Promote teamwork, leadership, and healthy lifestyle habits among students
- Participate in hostel supervision duties and student mentoring as required in a residential setup
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or Master’s degree (M.P.Ed) preferred
- Prior experience in a school or boarding environment is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of sports, fitness techniques, and student development
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and motivate students
- Willingness to reside on campus and contribute to the boarding school environment
