The Role:
This internship is with our multicultural Service Operations team, the frontline function responsible for proactively monitoring and support in resolving Application and Infrastructure incidents affecting Irdeto systems and customers globally, whilst ensuring maximum availability and performance. You will be part the of a team serving as a coordination point for communications between our Global customer base (Streaming and operators including TV) and Irdeto Engineering, DevOps, Integration, Security, Architecture and Service Delivery teams. You will contribute to identification of root cause analysis of recurring incidents and raise escalations to back-end teams when deeper investigation is required.

You will be at the forefront of managing the service operations for our leading security products, dealing with customers all around the world in a team of expert cloud engineers. You will also have wide access to our online learning platforms to develop new (technical) skills and improve existing ones.
Your mission at Irdeto:
- In this role, you will learn how the SOC 1st line operations work in practice: Detecting signals proactively, validating impact, following and coordinating runbooks, keeping stakeholders informed during service-impacting events.
- Provide administration and maintenance support for web applications hosted in AWS.
- Perform application troubleshooting to quickly resolve the issues per documented procedures.
- Effectively respond to monitoring alerts, incident tickets, information requests within predefined SLAs
- Handling communication and notification on major issues to all stakeholders. Document resolution run books and standard operating procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation opportunities, and be involved in service transition and launch projects.
- Work with core monitoring tools such as Grafana Cloud, AWS CloudWatch, SolarWinds Pingdom
- This position will involve 24*7 shift work.
How you can add value to the team:
- You have a forward-thinking approach to prioritize business value while continuously evolving skills to meet changing market needs.
- You have basic familiarity with Windows and Linux environments or a strong interest in developing these skills.
- Prior working knowledge of Cloud technologies (AWS) is advantageous.
- Some experience scripting in one of these languages is advantageous: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
- Basic Knowledge of IP networking concepts.
