We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Residential Physical Education (PT) Teacher who will play a vital role in developing students' physical well-being while contributing to the overall campus life.
Key ResponsibilitiesPhysical Education & Sports
- Conduct daily morning PT, fitness drills, and yoga sessions.
- Plan and conduct Physical Education classes as per CBSE guidelines.
- Train students in athletics, team sports, and individual sports.
- Identify and nurture talented students for inter-school and district-level competitions.
- Organize annual sports day, house competitions, and sports events.
- Promote healthy lifestyle habits and physical fitness among students.
Student Development
- Foster discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
- Encourage active participation in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
- Mentor students and motivate them to develop confidence through sports.
Residential Responsibilities
As a residential faculty member, the PT Teacher will reside in the school's teachers' quarters and actively contribute to student life beyond classroom hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and conduct early morning physical training and fitness activities.
- Support after-school sports coaching, practice sessions, and recreational activities.
- Be available during school events, camps, educational tours, and special programs.
- Assist in maintaining discipline and ensuring student safety during outdoor activities.
- Coordinate with school leadership for emergency situations and campus events whenever required.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain sports equipment and inventory.
- Ensure playgrounds and sports facilities remain safe and well-maintained.
- Prepare annual sports calendars and event schedules.
- Maintain student fitness and participation records.
- Assist in organizing school assemblies and ceremonial events.
EligibilityEssential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent.
- Freshers with strong enthusiasm are welcome; prior school experience is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children across different age groups.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to coach multiple sports.
- Knowledge of yoga, athletics, or martial arts will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Willingness to participate actively in school life beyond regular working hours.
