1. JOB PURPOSE:
To develop new business opportunities, expand market presence, build a strong network of architects, interior designers, contractors, and dealers, and drive sales growth for The Concrete Shop®, a design- led concrete brand by Aarya Precast India Pvt. Ltd. The Business Development Manager will also ensure that all business development and sales activities are conducted strictly in accordance with company policies, ethical standards, and brand guidelines, thereby maintaining and strengthening the company’s reputation in the market.
2. ROLL AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Business Development
- Identify and develop new clients including contractors, builders, developers, architects, interior designers, landscape consultants, consultants, infrastructure companies, studios, and retail dealers etc.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance market expansion
B. Dealer & Channel Development
- Identify and appoint new dealers, distributors, and channel partners.
- Strengthen relationships with existing dealers and partners.
- Support channel partners in increasing product sales and market reach.
C. Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong professional relationships with contractors, architects, developers, etc.
- Ensure timely follow-up and response to customer inquiries.
- Resolve customer concerns and ensure high customer satisfaction.
D. Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, and accounts departments to ensure smooth order execution.
- Track sales pipeline and project opportunities.
E. Sales Reporting
- Maintain records of leads, inquiries, quotations, and conversions in CRM or company reporting systems.
Submit weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
F. Work Discipline, Ethics & Compliance Responsibilities
- All business activities must strictly follow company policies and ethical standards.
- The employee must ensure that Aarya Precast and The Concrete Shop brand reputation is always protected.
- Any unethical or non-compliant activity may lead to disciplinary action or termination.
- Use of the official contact number for all business communications is mandatory; any non- compliance or actions against company ethics may lead to disciplinary action.
- The BDO must maintain professional discipline in communication, meetings, and business dealings.
4. COMMUNICATIONS AND RELATIONSHIPS:
- Internal: Sales Team, Marketing Team, Production Department, Dispatch & Logistics, Accounts Department, Senior Management
- External: Contractors, Builders & Developers, Architects & Consultants, Dealers & Distributors, Infrastructure Companies.
5. KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR JOB
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in: Business Administration / Marketing / Civil Engineering /
Construction Management or equivalent.
Experience:- Senior: 5–8 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Junior: 1-3 years of experience in business development or sales.
- Experience in construction materials / building materials / precast / concrete / infrastructure sector preferred.
