Job Title: Unreal Engine Environment Artist – Architectural Visualization

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Unreal Engine Environment Artist to join our team,
specializing in the creation of stunning, photorealistic architectural scenes. Your primary
responsibilities will include 3D modeling, texturing, and lighting within Unreal Engine to bring
architectural concepts to life. You will work closely with architects, designers, and visualization leads to
produce immersive and visually striking environments that communicate design intent with accuracy
and artistry.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Modeling:
Create detailed and optimized 3D models of architectural environments, including interiors,
exteriors, landscapes, and props based on CAD files orblueprints.
Texturing & Materials:
Develop high-quality textures and materials using tools such as Substance Painter, Quixel, or
Photoshop. Apply physically accurate and stylistically appropriate materials that align with
architectural realism.
Lighting & Rendering:
Set up dynamic and static lighting which should be optimised for realtime projects within Unreal
Engine to achieve photorealistic results. Understand light baking, Lumen (UE5), and post
processing to enhance scene mood and realism.
Scene Assembly:
Integrate models, textures, lighting, and camera setups to build complete, polished environments
within Unreal Engine.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the architecture team, art leads, Developers and project managers to ensure
that artistic vision and technical requirements are aligned.
Optimization:
Ensure scenes are optimized for performance without compromising visual quality. Understand
level streaming, LODs, and efficient asset management in Unreal.
Iteration & Feedback:
Accept and implement feedback from stakeholders and contribute ideas to improve the quality
and efficiency of visual outputs.

Requirements:
Proven experience as an Environment Artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating architectural
visualization work in Unreal Engine.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., 3ds Max, Blender, Maya).
Strong understanding of texturing, UV mapping/Unwraping, and PBR workflows.
Experience with lighting techniques in Unreal Engine (especially UE5), including Lumen and post
processing.
Solid grasp of architectural space, composition, and visual storytelling.
Familiarity with CAD/BIM integration is a plus (e.g., importing from Revit, ArchiCAD).
Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of realism and aesthetics.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in virtual tours or interactive architectural walkthroughs.
Knowledge of Blueprint scripting for scene interaction (optional).
