Full job description

Specializes in preparing authentic cuisine (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Indian) using traditional techniques like wok cooking, sushi preparation, or tandoor cooking. Key responsibilities include creating menus, ensuring food quality and safety, managing inventory, and directing kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Menu Development: Create and prepare a diverse, visually appealing, and modern menu, including innovative, customized rolls.
Kitchen Management: Manage inventory, track stock levels, and place orders with suppliers.
Customer Service & Interaction: Prepare food in front of guests, providing a high-quality, engaging dining experience, often customizing orders to preferences.
Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized station to prevent cross-contamination.

Requirements & Skills

Experience: Proven experience Asian in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of Japanese cuisine, fish, and seasonal ingredients.
Work Ethic: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment for long hours while standing.
