Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients admitted to the ICU.
Perform daily patient rounds and formulate treatment plans.
Manage patients requiring ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and life-support systems.
Interpret laboratory reports, imaging studies, and other diagnostic investigations.
Perform and supervise critical care procedures including:
Central venous catheter insertion
Arterial line placement
Endotracheal intubation
Mechanical ventilation management
Tracheostomy care
Bedside ultrasound guidance where applicable
Respond promptly to medical emergencies, code blue situations, and rapid response calls.
Ensure timely referrals and consultations with other specialties.

Patient Care & Safety

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Communicate patient condition and treatment plans to patients' families.
Participate in morbidity and mortality reviews and quality improvement initiatives.

Team Coordination

Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, and allied healthcare professionals.
Supervise junior doctors, residents, and ICU medical officers.
Provide clinical guidance and support to ICU staff.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Administrative Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and clinical protocols.
Assist in ICU resource utilization and patient flow management.
Participate in clinical audits and accreditation activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of ICU protocols.

Qualifications Essential

MBBS with MD/DNB in Anesthesiology, General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Critical Care Medicine.
DM/DNB/Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine preferred.
Valid Medical Council Registration.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
