Job Title.

Sales and Service Coordinator / GeM Portal Coordinator

Job Summary.

A Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales and Service team, managing customer communication, preparing quotations, processing orders, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring smooth sales and Service operations. The role also includes handling government procurement activities through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal, including bid participation, product listing, order management, and compliance documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Coordination

Coordinate with sales executives and customers for inquiries and order processing
Prepare quotations, proforma invoices, and sales reports
Follow up on leads, payments, and dispatch schedules
Maintain customer database and sales records
Handle email communication and customer support
Coordinate with accounts, logistics, and warehouse teams
Track order status and ensure timely delivery

GeM Portal Responsibilities

Manage company profile on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal
Upload and update product/service listings
Search and participate in GeM bids, reverse auctions, and tenders
Prepare bid documents and compliance paperwork
Handle GeM order acceptance, invoicing, and dispatch updates
Monitor bid deadlines and tender opportunities
Coordinate OEM authorization and technical documentation
Maintain vendor ratings and performance compliance
Resolve buyer queries and portal-related issues

Documentation & Reporting

Prepare MIS reports and sales analysis
Maintain purchase orders, invoices, and tender files
Generate daily/weekly sales Service reports
Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance

Required Skills

Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication
Experience with Tally software or Fresher
Working knowledge of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal
Good communication and coordination skills
Understanding of tendering and government procurement process
Strong follow-up and multitasking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field
1–5 years experience in sales coordination or tender handling
Experience in GeM bidding and government sales preferred

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
