Job Title: General Manager – Resort Operations
Location: Gulbarga, Karnataka
Job Summary:
The General Manager (GM) will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the resort, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction, profitability, and team performance. This role involves strategic planning, staff leadership, operational excellence, and upholding the brand standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of all departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance, and Spa.
- Drive exceptional guest experiences by maintaining service excellence and addressing guest concerns promptly.
- Lead, motivate, and develop resort staff; manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve revenue, occupancy, and overall profitability.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, cost control, and financial reports in coordination with the head office.
- Build strong relationships with vendors, local authorities, and corporate partners.
- Oversee marketing activities, promotions, and local event planning to increase visibility and bookings.
- Maintain the resort’s infrastructure, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in hotel/resort operations with at least 3 years in a GM or senior leadership role.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Financial acumen and experience in P&L management.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems and CRM tools.
- Passion for delivering outstanding hospitality experiences.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
