YOUR IMPACT

You will own internal digital platforms and data platforms that shape how McKinsey communicates with and understands its audiences, both external and internal.

On the platform side, you will help shape the future of our internal digital experience, including transforming our internal microsite ecosystem. You will support internal clients in “citizen development” using AI tools to enable teams to build and manage their own sites, while reducing reliance on legacy platforms such as Drupal, and you will prototype solutions using modern AI-assisted development tools.

You will also own and shape key internal digital products that enable communication and engagement across McKinsey. You will own the Global Intranet homepage, our central hub for news, information, and tools used by thousands of colleagues each day. You will lead Firstup, our firm's internal employee engagement platform used by senior leaders and teams, to reach large audiences.

On the analytics side, you will build and manage the analytics and measurement capabilities, AI-powered tools, and self-serve reporting that help leaders across internal and external platforms understand what resonates, why it matters, and where to act. Across both, you will use GenAI not as a feature but as an operating model shift: prototyping solutions faster, automating recurring work and modernizing how internal sites are built and managed.

Across these efforts, you will partner with engineers, designers, data and analytics teams, and communications stakeholders to translate user needs into product requirements, drive adoption through change and training, and deliver impactful solutions in an agile, entrepreneurial environment.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

8+ years of experience building products with a strong product management toolkit across all aspects of product development lifecycle, leading cross-functional teams in agile set-up

2+ years of experience managing consumer-grade web applications including API and data integrations, cloud hosting, testing, and deployment

Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, with experience building, launching, or scaling new products or capabilities in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

Experience applying AI/ML or data-driven approaches to solve product or business problems, with familiarity using modern AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Lovable, v0)

Experience with data engineering and analytics tools (e.g., AWS Glue, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau)

Proficiency in Excel for budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting & experience managing a large user base in a graceful, organized, and responsive way, including developing and delivering informal training and documentation

Ability to independently manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, prioritizing effectively while staying mindful of the big picture & sensitivity with confidential information and adherence to the highest professional and process standards

Some flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate different time zones with ability to work partly in-person in our Gurugram office (team schedules may vary)

Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders, translating data into decisions for leadership audiences & ability to engage an audience and create clear, logical, and structured communications across all formats, with fluent level language skills in English
