Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Company Secretary (CS) Intern to join our Corporate Compliance and Secretarial team. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to corporate laws, secretarial compliances, regulatory filings, governance practices, and advisory assignments under the guidance of experienced professionals.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for CS students to build practical knowledge in company law, corporate compliance, and secretarial functions while working with diverse clients across industries.

Key ResponsibilitiesSecretarial Compliance

Assist in maintaining statutory registers, records, and company documents.
Support preparation of Board Meeting and Shareholder Meeting notices, agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
Assist in drafting corporate documents, policies, and compliance reports.
Maintain compliance calendars and track statutory due dates.

ROC & MCA Filings

Assist in filing forms and returns with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Support incorporation of companies, LLPs, and other business entities.
Help in preparing documentation related to director appointments, resignations, share transfers, and other corporate actions.
Coordinate for obtaining DSCs, DIN applications, and KYC compliances.

Corporate Law & Advisory

Conduct research on Companies Act, 2013, LLP Act, FEMA, and other applicable laws.
Assist in due diligence assignments and compliance reviews.
Support preparation of legal and secretarial opinions, checklists, and advisory notes.
Monitor regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes internally.

Client Coordination

Coordinate with clients for collection of compliance-related documents and information.
Follow up on pending filings and statutory requirements.
Assist in responding to routine client queries related to corporate compliances.

Documentation & Record Management

Organize and maintain digital and physical compliance records.
Ensure proper documentation of filings, approvals, and statutory submissions.
Assist in preparing management reports and compliance summaries.

Eligibility Criteria

CS Executive or Professional Programme student (ICSI).
Articleship/Training exposure preferred but not mandatory.
Strong interest in Corporate Laws, Secretarial Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs.
Good understanding of the Companies Act, 2013 and MCA portal.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
