About the Role
As a Sponsorship & Brand Outreach Intern, you will help CommBox identify and connect with brands that could benefit from reaching the cricket audience.
You will work closely with the marketing and leadership team to research potential brands, identify relevant decision-makers, build prospect databases, conduct outreach, and support the development of brand partnerships and sponsorship opportunities.
This is a high-ownership role where you will be expected to take initiative, experiment with different outreach strategies, and actively contribute to CommBox's business growth.
Key Responsibilities Brand Research & Lead Generation
- Research brands and companies that could be potential partners or sponsors for CommBox.
- Identify brands relevant to cricket, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, consumer products, fintech, technology, FMCG, e-commerce, and other relevant categories.
- Identify the right decision-makers within target companies, such as:
- Brand Managers
- Marketing Managers
- Head of Marketing
- Partnerships Managers
- Business Development Heads
- Founders
- CMOs
- Build and maintain a structured database of potential brand partners.
- Research company profiles, campaigns, target audiences, and marketing activities to identify partnership opportunities.
Brand Outreach
- Conduct professional cold outreach through email, LinkedIn, phone calls, and other relevant channels.
- Make cold calls to prospective brands and introduce CommBox and its partnership opportunities.
- Follow up consistently with prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of all outreach and follow-ups.
- Schedule meetings between interested brands and the CommBox team.
Email & Communication
- Write professional and personalized brand partnership emails.
- Develop different outreach messages based on the brand and its marketing objectives.
- Follow up with prospects professionally without being repetitive.
- Communicate CommBox's value proposition clearly to potential partners.
Marketing Responsibilities
- Support marketing campaigns and brand partnership initiatives.
- Research market trends, competitors, and potential partnership opportunities.
- Assist in identifying new customer and brand segments.
- Help develop marketing ideas and campaigns targeted at cricket audiences.
- Track outreach metrics such as:
- Number of brands researched
- Contacts identified
- Emails sent
- Calls completed
- Responses received
- Meetings scheduled
- Partnerships generated
- Analyze outreach performance and suggest ways to improve conversion.
Partnership Support
- Assist the team in preparing brand partnership proposals and presentations.
- Research potential sponsorship opportunities around cricket events, tournaments, creators, and content.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support partnership execution.
- Maintain professional relationships with prospects and partners.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Confidence in speaking with professionals and business decision-makers.
Good to have: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, CRM tools, Canva, or email outreach tools.
