Job Title: Chartered Accountant

Location: Guwahati

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) to join our team as a General Accounting Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including finalization of accounts, management information system (MIS) working, Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, data analysis, audit support, and taxation work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Finalization of Accounts:

· Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

· Conduct reconciliations of accounts and resolve any discrepancies.

· Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

2. MIS Working:

· Develop and maintain management information systems to provide timely and accurate financial reports to management.

· Analyze financial data and present findings to support decision-making processes.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information for MIS reporting.

3. GST Working:

· Ensure timely and accurate compliance with GST regulations.

· Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile input and output taxes, and assist in GST audits.

· Stay updated with changes in GST laws and implement necessary adjustments in the accounting system.

4. Data Analysis:

· Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.

· Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

5. Audit Work:

· Assist in the coordination and facilitation of internal and external audits.

· Prepare audit schedules, liaise with auditors, and address audit queries.

· Ensure compliance with audit requirements and implement audit recommendations.

6. Taxation Work:

· Manage direct and indirect taxation matters, including income tax, TDS, GST, and other applicable taxes.

· Prepare and file tax returns, ensure compliance with tax laws, and assist in tax planning initiatives.

· Respond to tax notices and represent the company during tax assessments, appeals, and hearings.

Qualifications and Skills:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with relevant experience in general accounting, MIS reporting, GST compliance, audit support, and taxation.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
