Full job description

1. Site Supervision

Supervise daily construction and technical activities at the site.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor civil, finishing, plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, and other site-related works as assigned.
Ensure proper sequencing and coordination of different activities.
Monitor manpower and contractor activities on a daily basis.

2. Technical Coordination

Read and understand architectural, structural, and service drawings.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and site teams.
Identify technical issues or discrepancies in drawings and immediately report them to the Project Manager.
Ensure approved drawings and instructions are followed at site.
Assist engineers in resolving technical and execution-related problems.

3. Quality Control

Inspect ongoing work to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
Check workmanship and construction materials used at the site.
Identify defective or substandard work and ensure rectification.
Conduct regular inspections of completed works before handing them over to the concerned department.
Ensure proper finishing and execution as per project requirements.

4. Contractor Management

Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for daily work execution.
Allocate and monitor work according to project priorities.
Ensure contractors maintain required manpower at the site.
Monitor contractor performance and work quality.
Verify completed work and measurements before submitting them for further approval.

5. Material Management

Monitor availability of construction materials required for daily activities.
Inform the concerned department about upcoming material requirements.
Monitor material usage and minimize unnecessary wastage.
Ensure materials are stored and handled properly at the site.

6. Progress Monitoring

Monitor daily work progress against the project schedule.
Prepare daily/weekly progress updates.
Report delays, shortages, technical problems, and other site issues to the Project Manager.
Follow up with contractors to ensure timely completion of assigned work.

7. Safety & Site Discipline

Ensure workers and contractors follow site safety procedures.
Report unsafe working conditions immediately.
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and discipline at the project site.
Ensure work areas are properly barricaded and organized where required.

8. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily site records and work-progress reports.
Maintain records of measurements, inspections, materials, and completed works.
Assist in preparing contractor measurement sheets and work verification reports.
Maintain records of site instructions and technical observations.
Report important site developments to the Project Manager.

Required Qualifications

Diploma / ITI / Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
Relevant experience in real estate, construction, building projects, or infrastructure projects.
Practical knowledge of construction activities and site supervision.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of construction and finishing activities.
Ability to read basic architectural and structural drawings.
Contractor and manpower coordination.
Knowledge of construction materials and workmanship.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Basic knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD will be an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Timely completion of assigned site activities.
Quality of construction and finishing work.
Effective contractor and manpower management.
Reduction in material wastage and rework.
Compliance with safety procedures.
Accurate site reporting and documentation.
Timely identification and resolution of technical issues.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
