Full job description

The Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM) is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distribution networks, and expanding market share for hubs and brake drums within a designated territory. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, team leadership, and deep technical knowledge of the automotive aftermarket and OEM segments.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for hubs and brake drums.
Channel Management: Identify, appoint, and manage a robust network of distributors, dealers, and retailers. Ensure healthy inventory levels and credit management across the channel.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide field-level training.
Market Expansion: Identify untapped geographical territories and niche market segments (e.g., State Transport Undertakings, large fleet owners, or specific industrial clusters).
Brand Positioning: Coordinate with the marketing team to execute BTL (Below-the-Line) activities, mechanic meets, and retailer engagement programs to increase brand recall.
Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor pricing, product launches, and schemes. Provide regular feedback to the production and R&D teams for product benchmarking.
Government & Institutional Sales: Manage relationships with government procurement portals and tender aggregators to secure institutional orders.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or Business Administration (MBA in Marketing preferred).

Experience8–12 years in Sales/Marketing within the Automotive Aftermarket or Auto Components industry.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
